While there are numerous settlements around the Abacos, the more central
locations of
Elbow Cay (including Hope Town ), Guana Cay , Green Turtle Cay ,
Lubbers Quarters , Man of War Cay , Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay make up
the hub of the Abacos. The Abacos are full of places for boat rentals and golf cart
rentals to enable you to explore Abaco by both land and sea. There are also
several dive shops, bike rental shops and other specialty stores and boutiques to
suit almost every shopping need from t-shirts to gold.

Most every cay in the Abacos has one or more restaurant for your dining pleasure
and several are on the water and accessible directly by boat - either by docking or
anchoring just off the beautiful Abaco beaches. While staying at one location, you
can easily make day trip to another cay and set up a golf cart rental or bicycle rental
for a day or a half day to explore the cay to it's fullest.

For example, if you're visiting
Treasure Cay for a while by  a rental boat or even your
own boat, take a short 2.5 mile golf cart rental from Treasure Cay's settlement up
to Abaco Ceramics where you will not be disappointed or Cafe la Florence for a
loaf of fresh bread or one of their world famous cinamon buns. You will most
surely bring back some treasure of your own! Or take a golf cart rental at
Guana
Cay to eat lunch at Nippers or Grabbers and then explore the hills of Guana Cay
and enjoy the breathtaking views from the road of the Atlantic on one side and the
Sea of Abaco on the other. Or, while visiting
Elbow Cay for the day, take a golf cart
rental to see the view from the Abaco Inn and then on to see Tahiti Beach! Or visit
Green Turtle Cay for the day . . . dock your rental boat in New Plymouth then take a
golf cart rental up to further explore the other end of the cay and maybe even stop in
to see if Brendal is in at Brendal's Dive Shop! Before your departure, take in the
unique settlement of New Plymouth and explore some of it's shoppes and history.

Well, we're running out of room here but get creative during your trip to Abaco and
make the most of each visit - enjoy your days of Abaco life. If you can't take it all in,
no worries mon . . .  you'll be back soon!

Haste ye back!
