The Cancer Society of the Bahamas is a registered, non-profit organization,
established in 1976.
The Abaco Branch was established in 1990.
The Abaco Cancer Society raises funds to assist cancer patients by:
The Thrift Shop (behind Abaco Groceries near the Marsh Harbour Airport
roundabout) is open every Saturday from 10.00 am to 1.00 p.m.
Donations for the shop can be dropped off, at the shop, between 9 am and 1:00
pm every Saturday, or at Abaco Groceries during the week.

- Paying for airline tickets to their treatment destinations,
- Donating food for fund raising cook-outs and
- Paying for prescription medications and doctor's visits.
